HR Generalist/Manager

We welcome all applicants who identify with disabilities, visible or otherwise As we continue our rapid growth at Flashfood, we are looking to bring on an HR Generalist/Manager who will be responsible for a wide variety of HR tasks such using the HRIS to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and be the main point of contact for employee’s HR related queries and topics. You will have the ability to research, plan and roll-out with new operations systems within HR and work closely with the Leadership Team to grow our company’s talent pipeline and improve our sourcing tactics. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and effectively to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.


Collaborate with internal stakeholders to help execute internal HR and talent programs Optimize the full cycle candidate-onboarding experience Build out HR policies and initiatives Work closely with the Leadership Team to identify current and prospective hiring requirements to build effective growing teams Contribute to culture and team-building initiatives Build fun, innovative and inclusive teams!


  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Organize and manage the onboarding process, new hire orientation and training in collaboration with company leaders
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics to provide HR/recruiting recommendations to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with labour regulations
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Maintain employee files, records and applicant tracking in an organized system
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics (leaves, compensation, conflicts and issues)
  • Undertake tasks around performance management


  • 2+ years as an HR generalist/manager role.
  • Highly detail-oriented and ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate with managers, employees and talent in various settings
  • Good knowledge of employment//labour laws
  • BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and people skills
