Flashfood and Kids Worldwide Team Up to Launch Limited-Edition “Eat Well” Lunchbox

Proceeds from the kid-designed collection support nonprofit The RIVER FUND’s mission to fight poverty and food insecurity in Queens and The Bronx
NEW YORK, NY - November 12, 2025 - Flashfood, the leading affordable grocery app, has partnered with apparel brand Kids Worldwide to launch a limited-edition “Eat Well” Lunchbox, created in collaboration with The RIVER FUND, a New York City nonprofit. The partnership brings together food, fashion, art and community to enable healthier eating while supporting families across all five boroughs.
The Eat Well Lunchbox features fruit-and-veggie artwork designed by children who participated in a Flashfood x Kids Worldwide workshop at The RIVER FUND last summer. During the workshop, kids learned how to prepare simple, nutritious meals using Flashfood groceries, then transformed their ideas into the artwork now featured on the lunchboxes. Proceeds from sales directly benefit The RIVER FUND’s mission to fight poverty and food insecurity.
“This partnership with Kids Worldwide and The RIVER FUND reflects our continued mission to support our communities and ensure all families, especially children, have access to fresh and affordable food.” Flashfood CEO Jordan Schenck continued, “We have enormous appreciation for the work of Kids Worldwide and their dedication to families experiencing poverty across New York City. Together, we hope to increase access to fresh and nutritious groceries in the city and beyond.”
“Our collaboration with Flashfood brings together two missions driven by purpose, tackling food insecurity and empowering youth,” said Robbie Kingsmill Stuart, Founder, Kids Worldwide. “Access to nutritious food is essential to breaking the cycle of poverty, and through this partnership and the workshop we did we’re helping kids learn about healthy eating and smart grocery shopping. The custom lunch box featuring joyful artwork created by the youth is both a symbol of creativity and a reminder that every child deserves nourishment and happiness. We’re so proud of this collaboration and inspired by the imagination and color the kids brought to life.”
The launch reflects Flashfood’s ongoing commitment to making healthy groceries accessible and affordable while reducing food waste. To date, Flashfood has diverted more than 145 million pounds of food from landfills and saved shoppers more than $370 million on groceries across North America.
The Eat Well Lunchbox is available now at www.kidsworldwide.shop for $38, with proceeds benefiting The RIVER FUND. For more information visit www.flashfood.com.
